House Rules Christmas Market Municipal Cave 2024
The following house rules apply when entering the Christmas Market Municipal Cave in Valkenburg:
- Legally valid identification required.
- Visitors may be searched prior to the event. Access may be denied if refused.
- Pets are not allowed. Not even in a bag, baby carriage or similar object. There is an exception for assistance dogs.
- It is forbidden to bring the following items to the event site: pets, bicycles, sound equipment, (alcoholic) beverages, food, drugs, hard drugs, glass, cans, fireworks, plastic bottles, weapons, firearms and other dangerous objects.
- It is forbidden to wear club clothing as well as other clothing and expressions that may be perceived as provocative.
- The selling or offering for sale of merchandise such as drinks, food, souvenirs, T-shirts, scarves, flags and the like or the distribution of any kind of promotional material is only allowed if written permission has been obtained from the organization.
- It is forbidden to create any danger to property or to life or health of oneself or others, or to cause any other kind of damage.
- During the event photo, audio and/or visual material will be made for promotional purposes. When entering the Christmas market Gemeentegrot you agree that these are made and it is possible that you are recognizable in the picture. Should you object to this, please notify the organizers in advance.
- Instructions from employees of the organization as well as police, fire department, GGD and other competent authorities must be followed by the visitor without delay.
- Employees of the organization as well as the police are always entitled to search the visitor for the possession of unauthorized items and, if necessary, to take these into custody or destroy them.
- Anyone who in any way violates the provisions of these house rules, may be denied access to the cave by employees of the organization, or designated persons, as well as police and other authorized persons and / or organizations, without prior warning or be removed from (any part of) the cave, or be handed over to the police. This will have the immediate and irrevocable consequence that the entry permit of the person(s) concerned, which may be confiscated, will lose its validity without any right to a refund.
- Everyone must inform themselves on arrival at the event site of the escape routes to be used in the event of an emergency or threat thereof.
- Entering the event site and attending the event is entirely at the visitor's own risk.
- The liability of the organization is in any case limited to the amount paid by its insurer in a specific case because of any damage or injury caused to visitors and/or goods of visitors.
